Transit mixer

• This is a custom-made truck that has the pump
  and mixer mounted onboard.

Types of Concrete Pump

• The pump is used to deliver concrete from the
  plant to the truck as well as from the truck to
  the site. There are three common types
• Boom pump
• Trailer or stationary pumps
• Specialized usage pumps

Boom pump

• A Boom pump has a robotic arm that is mounted on
  the back of a truck. This arm is remote
  controlled and can pump concrete accurately to
  every corner of the construction site.

Trailer or stationary pumps

• Trailer or stationary pumps on the other hand
  are mounted on trailers but instead of a robotic
  arm, they have either rubber or steel hoses that
  can manually be attached so as to pump the
  concrete.

Specialized usage pumps

• Specialized usage pumps are not commonly used
  because they are made for specific jobs like
  tunneling and mining sites. They are often rail
  and skid mounted and is very expensive.

• To implement a concrete construction, the basic
  ingredient required is concrete which is produced
  using a concrete plant.

• Ready mix concrete plant is a centralized
  factory or batching plant which is situated near
  the construction project.

Compact Concrete Batching Plant

• The compact concrete batching plant is used to
  prepare the concrete at the construction site
  itself.

• A concrete paver is very important construction
  equipment used in the construction of roads,
  highways, bridge decks, industrial flooring,
  cargo handling and dock areas etc.
