Importance of the Current Project

What We Have Learned
  • Difficulty in recruiting the participants in
    rural areas
  • Never give up
  • Collaborative approach
  • Be flexible
  • Ask the eternal question how do you know that
    what you do works?
  • Practice, practice, and practice

11
What We Have Learned
  • EBP in SLP and A from J. A. Logemann (2000) ASHA
    Leader
  • Our professions futures depend on the
effectiveness of our treatments, not on our
    impressions of their effectiveness
