  • DUTIES Performs duties to include, but are not
    limited to, the following roasts, broils,
    bakes, fries, boils, steams and stews meats, fish
    and poultry. Prepares soups, stocks, broths,
    gravies, sauces and puddings without the use of
    packaged mixes. Adjusts standardized recipes for
    number of servings, performs yield testing
    prepares cold food platters such as ham, salmon
    and roast beef platters, and salads and hors
    d'oeuvres mixes and prepares cold sauces, meat
    glazes, molded aspics and salad dressings, and
    carves vegetables and fruits as garnishes for
    food platters and dishes.
  • QUALIFICATIONS Must have experience in and
    knowledge of food preparation principles and
    characteristics of food, and of planning
    processes to ensure entire meals are prepared and
    cooked on time. Must be able to perform yield
    testing to determine portion cost and to adjust
    ingredients in standardized recipes. Must have
    knowledge of procedures to order, issue and store
    food. Experience and knowledge must have been
    gained in a grill, snack bar, restaurant, club or
    similar food activity. Must be physically able
    to frequently life objects weighing up to 40
    pounds, and occasionally over 40 pounds. Must be
    able to continuously stand, walk, stoop, reach,
    push, pull and bend for long periods of time.
    Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's
    Certification and/or complete food handler's
    training. Must be able to satisfactorily
    complete a physical. Must be able to
    satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check.

  • DUTIES As directed, secures linen, glassware
    and silverware, depending on the particular
    format (menu, food and beverages). Readies
    groups of tables for food and beverages, making
    sure that dishes, glasses and silverware meet
    cleanliness standards, and that linens are
    spotless and condiment containers are filled.
    Following specific instructions and rigid time
    schedules, secures food from kitchen, and carries
    beverages from bar and serves customers. Refills
    food and beverage containers and performs
    emergency cleanup services. Answers simple
    questions concerning menu items and food served.
    Cleans and prepares tables for further use.
    Performs other related cleaning duties as time
    permits including the preparation area, kitchen
    and dining room. May perform incidental
    dishwashing and other tasks. Performs other
    related duties as assigned.
  • QUALIFICATIONS No previous experience or
    training is required. Must be able to follow
    simple oral instructions and prepare checks for
    patrons. Must be physically able to stand,
    stoop, bend and walk for long periods of time.
    Must be able to frequently lift and carry objects
    weighing up to 10 pounds. Must be able to obtain
    a Food Handlers Certificate and/or complete food

  • Part-time Attendant, Arts Crafts Center
  • Provides instruction technical guidance to all
    patrons using the Arts Crafts Center. Performs
    maintenance and repairs on machinery. Assists and
    advises customers concerning shop rules,
    procedures, and safety policies as required.
    Monitors and enforces policies. Evaluates
    customers capabilities for performing wood
    working task. Must possess or gain knowledge
    required to use and train patrons on all
    equipment in Arts Crafts Center. Must be
    proficient on the operation of computers, must be
    capable of operating computerized engraver, laser
    engraver and matt cutter. Responsible for cash
    collecting, inventory control, safeguarding of
    funds, and resale inventory. Performs other
    related duties as assigned.
  • Part-time Cook, Bowling Center Snack Bar
  • Prepares or cooks food to order at the Bowling
    Center snack bar. Maintains work area in clean,
    orderly, and safe condition. Performs other
    duties as assigned.
  • Part-time PBX Operator
  • Operates the Telephone Attendant Console,
    receives and distributes local and long distance
    calls, places outgoing calls from stations and/or
    provides access to authorized personnel to
    off-base lines, DSN and Long Distance. Takes
    immediate action on emergency calls by making
    connections as required and providing assistance
    as necessary while functioning as the operator.
    Assumes responsibility for complying with all
    security measures and exercising best judgment in
    handling emergencies. Maintains database for call
    records. Reports switchboard malfunctions,
    Central Office Alarms and trouble calls as
    required. Performs other related duties as
    assigned.
  • Part-time Assistant, Child Development Center
  • Responsible for care of children at Child
    Development Center and implementation of
    developmentally appropriate programs. Ensures
    that the childrens physical, social, language,
    and intellectual needs are met. Must possess good
    physical and mental health, be free of
    communicable diseases, and have all required
    immunizations, be able to participate in all
    physical activities, such as sitting on the
    floor, maintaining child level contact, and be
    able to lift children when necessary. Must
    participate in required Air Force training, and
    the Military Child Development Training Modules.
    Must complete requirements for State Criminal
    History Report Check (SCHRC) and National Agency
    Check (NACI). Performs other related duties as
    assigned.
