WORK BASED LEARNING
  • Work Based Learning meeting this Friday 9/21 in
    room 2267 during 5th macro. 1st Macro student
    are to meet before school at 720am

SENIORS 08 PICTURE
  • The "08" photo is scheduled Tuesday, October 2nd
    _at_ 1030 am in the Fieldhouse following picture
    retakes. We will also have the seniors vote on
    their class song/motto/flower.

DECA
  • Attention all 2nd and 3rd year DECA members.
    There will be a short meeting in Mr. Millers
    room 2452 on Tuesday September 25 at 715 am.
    This meeting is to start planning for the
    upcoming conferences. If you can not be there
    and want to participate this year please see Mr.
    Miller ASAP.

  • School Store hours are 1135am - 110pm Monday -
    Friday. This weeks special are our new Caledonia
    Sweat Pants marked 10 off. Two shades of grey
    and elastic or flair bottom. Close out price

CHS AnnouncementsHomecoming Dance Tickets
  • Homecoming dance tickets will be on sale during
    all three lunches starting Weds. September 19th
    until September 28th. Tickets are 12 presale,
    and 15 at the door.
  • Guest pass forms are available in the main
    office for those students bringing a guest from
    another school

Caledonia Idol
  • Caledonia Idol sign ups are located in the main
    office. Lyrics need to be turned into Mr.
    Remenap by Friday, September 21st.

KITCHEN STAFF OPEN AFTER SCHOOL
  • Kitchen staff will open after school for snacks
    drinks
  • Students can use their accounts and/or cash to
    purchase snacks.
  • Hours will be 230 - 300 p.m.

SCHOOL-WIDE FUNDRAISER OPPORTUNITY
  • Students a reminder to sell those Grand Rapids
    and Subway Peel-It cards. This is easy money for
    your interim. Mrs Snyder has a supply of the
    cards in her office. Please stop and see her if
    you have any questions. Remember the money you
    make goes directly to you for your interim.

Are you struggling grief from the death of
someone close.
  • Camp Compass, a grief support day camp, is
    sponsored by DeVos Children's Hospital, Spectrum
    Health, Gilda's Club, Hospice of Michigan and
    Wedgwood Christian Services. The camp serves
    children 5-15 of age who have been affected by
    the death of someone important in their daily
    lives. The camp will take place on Saturday,
    September 29 and the cost is 10 per child. Call
    391-3232 to register.

National Depression Screening Day
  • National Depression Screening Day is Thursday
    October 11, 2007 at various Pine Rest Clinic
    locations.
  • Free confidential screenings, educational
    materials and free one-on-one assessment with a
    trained mental health professional.
  • In our area is the Campus Clinic at 300-68th
    Street in Cutlerville, the Northeast Clinic at
    1700 East Beltline in Grand Rapids and the
    Wyoming Clinic at 2215-44th Street in Wyoming.

  • Attention Rome Interim students - Please remember
    to keep selling your Entertainment books. All
    money and unsold books are due to Mr. Hilton by
    Friday, September 28.

  • Fall clean-up. A couple would like 2 students to
    help with fall work. If you like working outside
    and have transportation then this is the job for
    you. For more info, see Mrs. Ruth in Student
    Service office.

COLLEGE INFO-PSAT
  • The PSAT test will be given to qualifying
    sophomores and juniors on Wednesday, October 17.
    Those students with a 3.9 or higher grade point
    average are encouraged to take the test. Please
    sign up in student services by Friday, October 5.
    The cost is 15.

COLLEGE INFORMATION
  • Are you interested in a career in the medical or
    dental field without a four year degree? You can
    earn a diploma from Everest Institute in Grand
    Rapids in dental assisting, administrative
    assisting, massage therapy, medical insurance
    billing and coding and practical nursing.
    Everest Institute has an 86 job placement rate
    in the growing medical field. Everest will be
    here in our cafeteria commons area during all
    three lunches on Monday, September 17.

  • Attention all students If you are exploring
    college options, there will be a student and
    parent information session at the Radisson Grand
    Rapids Riverfront Hotel on Ann Street in Grand
    Rapids on September 25. Universities that will
    be present are Duke, Georgetown, Harvard, Penn
    and Stanford. See Mr. Hoffman for more
    information.

    Special visit days for Science, Nursing, and Math

    applications be sent by September or October for
    most programs and be aware of the following
    deadlines
  • November 15 is the deadline for Veterinary
    Technology and Professional Flight.
  • December 1 is the preferred deadline for
    undergraduate majors within the schools of Health
    Sciences, Nursing, and Pharmacy.

  • Attention all girls interested in playing

  • We are expecting a large crowd from Lowell, so
    come out and show Lowell how Caledonia supports
    their FIGHTING SCOT team.

  • Employees have free admission by showing their
    staff ID.
  • If you have family or friends coming, we will be
    pre-selling admission tickets starting tomorrow
    (Wednesday) in the Athletic Office. 5.00
    each.
