Jason Walker Began His Career As A Child Abuse

Kick-starting his career in child welfare, Jason
Walker was a child abuse investigator in Toronto
who was a specialist in assessing childhood
physical and sexual abuse. After returning to
Victoria BC, he joined BC government and held
significant roles that include becoming an
Advisor for the Ministry of Health and handling
management roles with the BC Ambulance Service
and the BC Coroners Service. Soon, Jason
entered the private sector and became the CEO of
a private health and human service organization
as well as a registered clinical counselor in
2008. From past few years, he has been working as
as a Human Resource and Management Consulting.
Currently, he is the Principal and senior
consultant of The McPherson Group.

believes that education plays an important role
in one's life. Considering this, he made the best
possible efforts to gain education and he
continues to do so with complete dedication and
committment. His academic background includes a
Bachelor's degree in science, Bachelors degree
in Psychology, a Masters degree in Social Work,
PhD in Social Work, and Master's degree in
International Law. Currently, he pursuing a PhD
in Industrial Organizational Psychology from
Northcentral University, Arizona, USA.

In addition to this, he is a published author in
the academic domain who used to work as an
Adjunct Professor at the University of Victoria
where he not only taught undergraduate and
graduate students but was also their
mentor. Community Involvement Jason Walker has
made significant contribution to his community.
He has served on various charity boards including
the Boys and Girls Club Services of Victoria, St.
John Ambulance, The Marry Manning Centre for
Sexually Abused Children, and Police Victim
Services. Jason is a Director for the Shawnigan
Lake Residence Association and a member of the BC
Human Resource Management Association.

Not just this, he has actively participated in a
number of community based fundraisers. He has
also been linked to Society for Human Resource
Management, Society for Industrial and
Organizational Psychology, The University of
Toronto Alumni Association (Social Work), The
Canadian College of Health Services Executives
(CHE), The Canadian Association of Public Health
(CPHA), The Canadian Association of Epidemiology
