  • Large number of complaints on incorrect revision
    of pensions by banks.
  • Tri-Services took up the matter with the Govt.
  • Ministry of Finance directed PCDA(Pensions),
    Allahabad and CGDA to commence issuing of
    revised/corrigendum PPOs.

PPO
  • Issue of revised PPOs commenced under Project
    Sangam wef 16 Aug 11.
  • Issued first to post 1996 retirees and thereafter
    gradually will be issued for pre 1996 retirees.
    Issue of corrigendum PPOs will be done for all
    the three Services.
  • CGDA will issue suitable directives to PCDA(Navy)
    wrt naval pensioners.

  • MoD recently launched Centralised Pensionary
    Grievances Redressal And Monitoring System,
    CPENGRAMS wef 05 Sep 11.
  • An internet based programme.
  • Any pensioner from anywhere can lodge a grievance
    online.
  • Will be redressed expeditiously by the concerned
    Service Headquarters.
