Fauvism Henri Matisse
  • Henri Mattise was the most famous painter who
    used this style.
  • He was a French painter who lived from 1869 to
    1954.
  • The top photo was taken in 1933.
  • His self-portrait was made using the style that
    he made famous.
  • He was one of the best known artists of the
    twentieth century.

  • Fauvist artists used wild colors without regard
