must have MS PowerPoint on your PC
- Click File
- Click Save As and save to your PC, in a folder
and location of your choice - Locate the PowerPoint you just saved on your PC,
and open it from within PowerPoint - In PowerPoint, click View
- Click Notes Page and you can now get to the
notes - Note Permission is granted to you to use the
Notes verbatim to lecture from, or, you may edit

8Building a Care Plan by Diagnosis NANDA
9Type a name for your Care Plan in the box
10For example, J.D.3
11Highlight a NANDA Diagnosis and double-click it
12Diagnosis now has moved from right side to left
13And then, click Select Outcomes
14Checkmark the appropriate outcome(s)
15Will a performance indicator be required or not?
16Leave default to Required
17Then, click Select Indicators
18Checkmark appropriate Indicators
19Select the success level for the indicator
20Checkmark Other and type in each indicator,
followed with initial and final responses. Click
OK.

22Select the FINAL RESPONSE (FR) for each Other
Indicator
23When ready,click Select Interventions
24You will be prompted to select indicators for
each diagnosis and outcome. At this prompt,
click OK.
25Remember For each indicator, select a goal
achievement level

click on Select Interventions
27Next step is to select nursing intervention(s)
for outcome(s)
28Then, click Select Activities
29Checkmark the Activity for Intervention(s)
that pertain to Outcome, Respiratory Status
Airway Patency. Type in your implementation and
evaluation below.
30Type your notes for Implementation and Evaluation
31Click Activities Selected when ready
32When you see this, youre ready to print your
Care Plan.
33Click the Preview/Print button to view before
printing
34Notice your file name. Change 100 to Whole
Page
35Now, you can see the total number of pages in
your Care Plan

definition
50Highlight, then right click, the definition.
Highlight Copy and go to your Care Plan Sheet
51Paste the NOC definition into your Nursing Care
Plan Sheet
