Radiology Technology

• The program prepares the student to assist the
  radiologist (MD) in performing examinations to
  rule out, or confirm and identify, fractures or
  diseases. The student will be educated in the
  precise application of ionizing radiation to
  perform the radiographic procedures.

• Complete the HOBET test with a composite grade of
  50 or better or complete the Health Science
  Certificate for Medical Imaging Sciences with
  grades of C or better
• Students who have passed the HOBET and are taking
  the support courses must maintain a 2.5 (C) or
  better in all classes.

Diagnostic Medical Sonography

• Sonographers use the physical attributes of sound
  waves at high frequencies to produce diagnostic
  images for interpretation and diagnosis by
  qualified physicians. These images are viewed on
  a screen and recorded as a permanent record.
