Dear Sirs, We are pleased to provide you with our
MICE Department presentation dedicated to Poland
as a destination for incentive trips and
events. Let us introduce ourselves we organized
our first incentive travel more than eighteen
years ago. Since then not only have we managed to
get acquainted with the ins and outs of the
Polish incentive travel market but we have also
found and tested the best solutions in this
area. We know that each moment of the incentive
travel has to make its participants believe that
the trip is excellent by all accounts. Incentive
travel requires a good script, a good director,
and good actors, that is why it should be taken
care of by professional emotion suppliers and
imagination engineers. We have faced this
challenge. Fly Away is more than a common travel
agency. It is also a group of professional tour
leaders, counselors, journalists and travelers
cooperating with us all the time and ready to
handle even the most surprising requests and
organize whatever you may dream of. We do hope
that you will find our offer interesting and we
will be more than happy to answer all your
questions. Yours faithfully, MICE Department

In last few years, after its accession to the
European Union, Polands popularity as a meeting
point in the centre of Europe has grown
considerably. Poland is a country that combines
cultural tradition of Western and Eastern Europe,
a country of great history and rich heritage. In
Poland you can find everything from golden sand
of its Baltic coast beaches to the north,
wonderful network of Masurian Lakes in the
centre, to rocky high Tatra mountains in the
south, from outstanding beauty of nature to
modern and dynamic cities, from art treasures and
world-known monuments to every day's life
pleasures like excellent cuisine, great cultural
offer and famous Polish hospitality. Poland is a
perfect destination also to those with a taste
for history and its mementoes - many Polish
tourist sights have already gained a worldwide
reputation and are an absolute must to see during
the journey to this part of Europe. Poland
provides unforgettable experiences for visitors
with even the most diverse interests, but we
would like to present Poland also as a fantastic
country for an incentive trip or event. Why
Poland is a perfect destination for incentive?
Poland is situated in the heart of Europe and
has easy access from different parts of Europe
and of the world. Dynamic development of Poland
has influenced also the wide range of hotel
venues base which is very convenient and
available at competitive prices. Poland
guarantees, besides its well-known highlights,
fresh and unique experiences.

The capital of Poland is the biggest and the
fastes developing Polish city. Those who know the
city often agree that it is one of the most
fascinating cities in Europe, a city which
combines the influences of Western and Eastern
Europe, where tradition meets modernity and the
past coexists with the future. Maybe it is not so
easy to fall in love with Warsaw at first sight
but it is certainly difficult to forget this
truly unusual place. History has experienced the
capital of Poland very hard during the World
Ward II the city was almost totally destroyed and
was then rebuilt practically from scratch.
Warsaw is also a city of culture and music
after all it is the city of Chopin. Also
associated with communist times because of its
symbol the Palace of the Culture and Science and
the specific socrealism architecture, but Warsaw
changes each day and has many different
faces. Its dramatic history still is a part of
the city, but nowadays Warsaw with its
skyscrapers, animate business downtown, with its
parks and monuments, fine hotels and restaurants
and last but not least with its lively and
vibrant energy, is a modern metropolis. Warsaw is
a perfect destination to organize a big event or
a conference because of its venues for such
projects. The capital has many large and
luxurious hotels. The biggest conference/exhibiti
on venues are Gromada Airport hotel, EXPO halls
and the Palace of Culture (Congress hall).

Krakow is considered to be the most beautiful and

flow differently and, indeed , you always have

art galleries, world-known festivals (like Jewish
Culture Festival which takes place each year in
June in Kazimierz quarter), numerous bars, clubs
and coffee shops. Krakow still plays the role of
a cultural centre in Poland and with no doubt it
attracts also the highest number of tourists not

The capital of Lower Silesia is situated on the
Odra river and is often called The Island City.
There is a good reason for it Wroclaw has 14
islands and 127 bridges. Its name had 50 variants
during the one-thousand-year history of the
place. The history, which is both complicated and
fascinating, turned Wroclaw into an important
multicultural place. Wroclaw has been a
cross-roads of Polish, Czech, Austrian, German,
Jewish and Ukrainian cultures and has been a part
of Polish, Czech, Austrian and German states.
The past left its marks on the unique atmosphere
of the city, but nowadays Wroclaw is considered
as one of the most dynamic and modern cities in
Poland. Wroclaw has an outstanding Old City
with beautiful monuments of Gothic, Baroque and
Art Nouveau architecture. It offers a wide
cultural offer and great hospitality which
touches everyone who visits the city and makes
them want to came back again. It is also an
important cultural and academic centre of the
region, full of life, students and with an
animated night life. It is also the fastest
developing Polish conference city and thanks to
the promotion of the city, the number of tourist
and visitors increases each year. The potential
of Wroclaw for MICE activity is unquestionable
thanks to big number of brand new hotels and
conference venues.

Gdansk is a maritime city over a thousand years
old situated on the coast of the Gdansk
Bay. Gdansk has links with Sopot (a popular spa
resort) and Gdynia (an important seaport), and
together they form a conurbation known as the
Tricity. Gdansk has a great past of
Polish-German history with a significant period
when the town was a key member of the Hanseatic
League. In the 20th century Gdansk played again a
very important role in the countrys history
because it was the cradle of Polish Solidarnosc
and hometown of Lech Walesa. In 1980 Gdansk was
the witness of the birth of the Solidarity
movement which brought the end of communism in
Eastern Europe and since then it has often been
called a city of freedom. The newly opened
Roads to Freedom museum, which focused its
collection on the rise and fall of the 20th
century ideologies, has lately confirmed the
important role which Gdansk played in
Europe. Gdansk is one of the main touristic
goals for visitors in Poland, it impresses with
exclusive architecture of the Old Town, enchants
with a great variety of ambers the treasure
from the sea, and with rhythm of the modern fast
developing city. Nowadays Gdansk is not only an
