There is no known cause or cure

21
  • Our son Peter was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum

  • He is very high functioning but has many social
    and communicative issues.
  • We have tried to educate ourselves and become as
    proactive as possible!

22
  • With appropriate
  • early-intervention services
  • from ages 3-5,
  • between 20 and 50
  • of children diagnosed
  • with Autism
  • will be able to attend mainstream Kindergarten!

23
  • And now

24
Peter is in Kindergarten!
25
So when you think of Autism, try not to think of
someone like this at first
26
Picture someone like this!
27
  • Autism Awareness is so important !
  • These children need educators and families
to work together to keep the future bright!

28
What are Your Experiences?
  • Do you know any children with
  • Autism or other disorders?
  • Have you ever had or do you have
  • any students with ASD or other disorders?
