OLD BUSINESS Vision Statement
  • The Word of Life Ministries faced various
challenges in 2006 WALKING AROUND A MOUNTAIN.
  • However, in 2007 (the number seven means
    perfection and completeness)
  • The Word of Life Ministries has the desire and
determination to go into the enemys camp and
take back the lives of those who are in bondage
    because of alcoholism, drugs, homosexuality,
lesbianism, hopelessness, and sin. We will bring
them back into Gods Kingdom and grace, Mercy,
    and love.
  • Our Theme for 2007
  • A New Beginning
  • Deuteronomy 16-8
  • Verse 6 The Lord our God spake unto us in Horeb,
saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount
Turn you, and take your journey, and go to the
mount of the Amorites and unto all the places
    nigh thereunto.

9
OLD BUSINESS Mission Statement
  • In 2007, the Word of Life Parishioners exists to
minister and to be ministered unto (MATT 2028)
as the Son of God and expects to pool all its
exterior and interior resources taking the Gospel
of Jesus Christ into the multi-cultural
community, bringing salvation to lost souls.
  • The Word of Life will pursue monetary resources
through federal local agencies to facilitate
outreach ministries in our local church.
  • The Word of Life will serve as the catalyst in
ministerial development and training of its
    clergy, church leadership and laity.
  • The Word of Life will accelerate its evangelistic
program with mechanisms and approaches in winning
    lost souls.

YOUTH DEPARTMENTOrganizational Structure
14
Youth Directors Vision
  • Always adhere to the standards set forth for the
Youth Department by the pastor. To provide the
youth with spiritual guidance in developing their
own personal relationship with God, counseling,
    mentorship, educational support, and
encouragement in all their endeavors. To
continually pursue as well as present the Spirit
of Excellence in the Youth Department.

15
Vision Statement
  • The Word of Life Ministries Youth Department has
the desire and determination to reclaim our young
people from the lures, pressures, and temptations
of the world and restore them back as spirit
filled young people who are willing workers in
the kingdom. We want to win souls for Christ
while we are young because tomorrow is promised
    to no one.

16
Mission Statement
  • The ultimate goal for the Word of Life Youth
Department is to ensure that our youth grow to
love Christ and His Church, respect themselves as
well as others, and to pursue a holy lifestyle.
  • Christ came not to be served, but to serve. We
need to persuade our youth to be more like
Christ. We reverence and praise God by loving
and serving mankind in the name of Jesus Christ
by utilizing our God-given talents and our time.
  • Let no man despise thy youth but be thou an
example of the believers, in word, in
conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in
purity. (I Timothy 412) Christ beckons us to
be His witnesses in the world. We must empower
our youth to boldly convey their belief and trust
in God for themselves and to others in order to
    be genuine witnesses of Christ.
  • Train up a child in the way he should go and
when he is old, he will not depart from it.
(Proverbs 226) We must cultivate a personal
prayer life as well as a study of the Holy Bible
into the daily routine of our youth. We need to
encourage them to pursue their own personal
    relationship with God.
  • Ensure the full integration of each youth into
    the entire Church Experience.

  • The Young womens Christian Council (YWCC) is a
group of women from the age of nineteen to an
indefinite age. This group is too old for the
Purity Class and too young for the Mothers
board. The YWCC group is young enough to accept
the new know how and old enough to know why
time is a precious gem. This group is expected
to train in all areas of leadership and
organizational structure. They are expected to
learn what it means to live consistent Christian
    lives.

25
Vision Statement
  • The Young Womens Christian Council is a forum
which enables us to reach out to help others to
understand what God requires of Holy Women in
these turbulent and troubled times. This forum
will help women to become fore aware of the
constant need to exemplify Holy Living in order
to be effective and to inspire that which God
    desires of us.

26
Mission Statement
  • The Young Womens Christian Council will serve
as a Beacon Light to younger women, enabling them
to establish and maintain Godly standards in
    church behavior, community relationships, home
    building, child development, self improvement,
    and thus becoming soul winners.

29
Vision Statement
  • To evoke the Glory of God by lifting up a united
voice whose main goal is to touch the heart of
God and to promote an atmosphere of praise and
worship. To usher in the presence and power of
God so that strongholds and yolks will be
destroyed, and to break up the fallow ground for
    the preached word.

30
Mission Statement
  • We glorify God through Jesus Christ our Lord, by
the revelation of the Holy Ghost. We realize
that our personal relationship with the Lord
enhances our ability to minister and we place a
corporate demand on His anointing. We are
dedicated to fostering an environment of praise
and worship so that the ministry of salvation,
deliverance and reconciliation can come forth.

31
Strategic Initiative 1
  • TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
  • Goal 1 Initially establish and publish
definitions and standards of how the Choir
services the body of Christ (within 30 days).
  • Goal 2 Quarterly review standards within
    choir.
  • Goal 3 Through weekly rehearsals, develop a
    strong sense of self-discipline and
self-motivation and an inner drive for excellence
    for God.
  • Goal 4 Allow members an opportunity to use
their voices to inspire and motivate others, to
mature members vocal abilities by singing as a
    group and solo.
