    are the King Cobra, Chimpanzee, vampire bat,
    Sloth and Toucan.

  • In an average year in a tropical rain forest, the
    climate is very humid because of all the
    rainfall, which amounts to about 250 cm per year.
    The rainforest has lots of rain because it is
    very hot and wet. This climate is found near the
    equator. That means that there is more direct
    sunlight.

    Curare, Durian and Strangler Figs.

What foods do the animals eat in the Rainforest?
  • The King Cobra eats manly other snakes, but will
    eat lizards, some frogs and sometimes small
    mammals.
  • The Chimpanzee eats many types of food like buds
    and blossoms, soft pitch stems, honey and bark.
  • The vampire bat drinks the blood of birds and
    mammals.
  • The sloth eat leaves, bark and fruits etc.
  • The toucan eats fruits, seeds, insects and
    spiders.

Where you can find the rainforest
  • The tropical rainforests are located in a band
    around the equator (Zero degrees latitude),
    mostly in the area between the tropic of
    cancer(23.5 latitude). This 3.000 mile(4800 km).
