  • 98.1 of graduates took one or more CTE courses
    during middle or high school.
  • 50 of graduates completed a CTE program.
  • 41.78 of students earning an advanced studies

    for new High School.

Successes for 2007-2008
  • All 7 students passed the licensing exam for
    Certified Nursing Assistant.
  • 30 out of 31 students passed the dual enrollment
    exam for pre-engineering.
  • Increase in students receiving industry
    certifications.

Awards
  • Joe Mayes received the regional CTE Creating
    Excellence Award for individual educator.
  • Tenaska received the regional CTE Creating
    Excellence Award for Business-School Partnership.
  • Robotics team placed 5th out of 46 and received
    the Problem Solvers Award in their first
    competition at UVA.
