    and improves America

    for party, local, state, and federal office
  • Encourage community building through service
    politics

Accomplishments

  • DFA-Link is an online social net-working,
    localized blog and event management tool for the
    DFA community.
  • DFA-Link groups have grown to cover 423 of the
    435 congressional districts
  • DFA-Link mobilized over 37,000 volunteers at more
    than 12,000 grassroots events in 2006

Accomplishments
The Training Academys mission is to teach
grassroots activists the skills and strategies to
take back our country. The Academy travels
across the country, bringing intensive weekend
trainings to activists where they live.
  • 10,580 grassroots activists trained
  • 52 Training Academies in 23 states
  • 11 Night School classes

DFA Night School is an on-line curriculum for
activists who cannot attend an Academy event.

Goals 2007-2008
The DFA Training Academy has taken the role of
challenging and outperforming the Republican
training infrastructure. Our goal is to train
25,000 activists who will each deliver 100 new
voters to the polls, translating into 2.5 million
votes in 2008 the likely margin of victory.
