Birth

• Benjamin Franklin was born on January 17 1706.
  His dads name was Josiah Franklin. He had 17
  children including Benjamin Franklin. Every
  Sunday, Benjamins dad sent all of his children
  to church to learn to be hard working, honest,
  and satisfied with little.

The Cartoon He Drew

• Benjamin Franklin drew a picture of a cartoon
  snake to draw the different colonist like
  different parts of the snake. He drew it to
  encourage the Americans to work as one unit and
  defeat the British. The snake said join or
• die.

The Kite Experiment

• In 1752, Benjamin conducted the kite
  experiment. He received the Copley Medal of the
  Royal Society of London for research in
  electricity.

The 100 Dollar Bill

• Benjamins face is on the 100 dollar bill.
• If you ever see a one hundred dollar bill, think
  of him as the great man of electricity.

• Benjamin Franklin died on April 17,1789, at the
  age of 84.
