Bill Analyses are available for the different
versions of the bill and reflect changes that
have been made throughout the legislative
process. Analyses often include a summary of the
bills key provisions, a description of the
current law that the bill will change, and
applicable definitions.

Brief descriptions of amendments made in
committee.

Conference Committee Synopsis
Synopsis of any amendments to the bill in
conference committee. The conference committee is
a committee composed of members of the House and
Senate who must agree to amendments (if any) that
the bill underwent in the second chamber.

Fiscal Note and Local Impact Statement
Fiscal notes are available for the different
versions of the bill and reflect changes that are
a result of amendments. The note reflects the
fiscal impact of the bill on state and local
government.

you are having trouble understanding the process,
