Brief History of Six Flags

• Six Flags was founded by a Texas Oil Baron, Angus
  Wayne, who had a vision of creating a new type of
  family entertainment not too far from the cities
  so that it is affordable and accessible to most
  people.
• The first Six Flags Theme Park was opened in
  Texas in 1961.
• It is also the largest Six Flags.

Whats New at Six Flags?

• Six Flags in Atlanta will unleash a giant roller
  coaster in 2006, traveling over 4400 feet on a
  journey that takes over 3 minutes, reaching
  speeds of 70 miles per hour.
• Six Flags in New Jersey is home to the worlds
  tallest, fastest roller coaster, 456 feet tall
  and reaching speeds of 128 miles per hour.
• Six Flags has announced plans to build a new
  hotel and indoor water park to serve as a gateway
  for visitors to the Adirondack region of New York
  state.
• Batman Begins Stunt Show at Six Flags Magic
  Mountain. The 25-minute Batman Begins Stunt Show
  offers an explosive behind-the-scenes look at big
  Hollywood stunts and special effects including
  pyrotechnics, highly technical stunts, karate
