Tax or Auditing/Financial reporting?

• As a result of taking ACCT 3307 you developed a
  passion for tax select tax
• If not, select not tax which at Tech means
  audit/financial reporting

When to Interview for Internship?

• For most of you, next spring (Spring 2010)
• For a few of you, possibly interview in Spring
  2011 for internship in Spring 2012
• If you are not sure, visit an advisor (audit or
  tax) as soon as you can

When to apply?

• When the time is best!
• It depends every case may be different
• Need to be accepted to MSA program no later than
  the semester in which you interview for an
  internship
• For most of you, need to apply no later than
  Spring 2010 (deadline Feb. 15, 2010)

What is Admission Based On?

• Overall grades
• Accounting grades
• Standardized Test Score
• If applying to the 150 program, you have a choice
  of using high school SAT or ACT scores or GMAT
• If applying to MSA with a bachelors degree, you
  must take the GMAT
• Other factors

How do I apply?

• Go to Graduate Services Center on 2nd floor of BA
  and talk with Ms. Susan Davis (the designated MSA
  graduate advisor)
• Fill out the paperwork and get reference letters
• At the same time, apply to TTU graduate school
  (separate from application for admission to MSA
  program)
