• This monument was a gift to the USA from the

  symbol of Liberty.
  
• Liberty holds a tablet in her left hand that

• The statue was reassembled in the USA.

• The Washington monument is a building in
  Washington D.C. that was built to honor the first
  president of the United States of America.
  
• Robert Mills built the obelisk-shaped building.
• It is 555 feet tall and no other building in
  Washington D.C. is allowed to be taller.
  
• There is an elevator in it.
