The Mission Developers CORE VALUES usually will
be reflected in the Core Values of the new
Mission.
  • In the post-modern, 21st century culture people
do not lead by giving ORDERS.
  • Leadership will exercise its influence through a
clearly articulated set of CORE VALUES, the focus
of a widely-owned Mission Statement, and a Vision
    that is Biblical/Confessional and passionate.
  • Thus CORE VALUES must be SHARED!

8
Why are Core Values important?
  • They INSPIRE people to action.
  • They enhance CREDIBLE LEADERSHIP.
  • They shape the CHARACTER of the ministry.
  • They contribute to MINISTRY SUCCESS.

WHAT ARE CORE VALUES?
  • They are NOT a DOCTRINAL Statement.
  • DOCTRINE is the BEDROCK beneath
  • our Core Values.
