WHERE COULD LOVE BE?

• I wonder if I will ever find love.
• It seems like love does not want to be found.
• I feel like Im getting burned on a stove,
• But what can I do when no ones around?
• I may look lost, but Im only tired
• Of finding anyone whos alarming.
• How was it that the one I befriended,
• Was my one and only true prince charming?
• He was there before my eyes since day one,
• And though not a beautiful sight to see,
• At least I know that hell never be gone
• Because he is, whom God has given me.
• I just hope someday well be together
• Living the life my mother thought, Never!

QUATRAIN ONE..

• The first quatrain, I wonder if I will ever find
  love/It seems like love does not want to be
  found/I feel like Im getting burned on a
  stove/But what can I do when no ones around?
  implies that the narrator is lonely and
  irritated. The narrator is irritated off of the
  fact that she has been with so many people, but
  none of them gives her that feeling of
  satisfaction. She feels as if shell be alone
  forever because each and every relationship that
  she has been through, the end result is
  loneliness all over again. Not only is she
  lonely, but the guys that she has been with have
  scarred her for life not physically, but
  emotionally. They all say they love her and want
  to be with her, but really, they only stay with
  her because they know that shell give them
  anything they want if they ask.

QUATRAIN TWO..

• The second quatrain, I may look lost/But Im
  only tired/Of finding anyone whos alarming./How
  was it that the one I befriended/Was my one and
  only true prince charming? means that she cant
  find her way around anymore because everywhere
  she goes shes afraid of running into another
  guy, who will only repeat what the others have
  done. Shes just tired of looking around for
  that one special person, but in reality, her true
  love was right before her eyes and she didnt
  even know it. She always thought that, Once a
  friend, always a friend, but she came to realize
  that friends can make better lovers than any
  ordinary person because at least both of you
  already know what your hobbies, interests, and
  friends are.

QUATRAIN THREE..

• The third quatrain, He was there before my eyes
  since day one/And though not a beautiful sight to
  see/At least I know that hell never be
  gone/Because he is, whom God has given me. means
  that this person is who is meant for her because
  he has always been there for her, and though he
  may not be her idealistic boyfriend, physically,
  he is emotionally. Hes there for her whenever
  she just needs someone, and though she doesnt
  know what will happen in the future, she can only
  hope that he will be there in the end. She knows
  that theres a reason for everything, and if God
  is giving her a sign saying, I have looked close
  and beyond to find your love, but only you can
  decide your future, she chooses him.

COUPLET..

• The couplet, I just hope someday well be
  together/Living the life my mother thought,
  Never! just means that shes hoping and
  wishing that someday hell be her husband so the
  hurting could stop. Shes been through so many
  men in her life and shes just tired of being
  hurt and rejected. She feels as if he is her
  last hope to love because even her mom never
  thought that she could be happy. Her mom thought
  that shell be alone forever because she was
  always giving herself up to guys who meant
  nothing, and her mom went by the saying, A
  mother knows everything, and she just wanted to
  prove her mom wrong that there are other people
  who love her as well, and even though she does
  not have her support and love, she can find it in
  a lot of other places. If she fails, she fails,
  but what can she do if love does not want her?
