What I didnt realize
  • I was mastering the subject
  • I was reviving my creative self.
  • I was becoming known for my drawing skills
  • I was creating the knowledge base and tools I
    would later need.

Things evolve unexpectedly
Back to Carpentry and Miserable
Sending out Resume and Not getting much response.
Feeling isolated and discouraged
I am recommended by a CCT student who became
familiar with my Drawing ability.
A position opens at the Art Institute of New
England for a Drawing Teacher
Later, I discover they hire me because of my
passion, knowledge of the field, and skill in
Editorial Cartooning.

Amazingly, these are direct outcomes of my
Synthesis Practicum work.

Now and Future
  • I am currently teaching 4 courses in Drawing at
    A.I.N.E
  • I have taught five workshops on editorial
    cartooning at A.I.N.E
  • I am the Education Director of the Newton Boys
    and Girls Club
  • Mid-Process on a Comic Book Project and looking
    forward to publication soon!
