Last year, the tenth annual Dia Del Trabajador
Agricola The Day of the Farm Worker - was
celebrated in Greenfield, California. The Day of
the Farm Worker is a day to honor and recognize
the farm workers and their families for their
great contribution to our society.

Agencies from the South County Outreach Efforts
(SCORE) collaborate to bring the services to the
farm workers in a relaxed and festive atmosphere.

Throughout the day, farm workers obtain
information about health services, education,
employment, training, and other One-Stop services
from the many agencies that participate in this
annual event.

Along with these services, farm workers celebrate
the day with music, food, entertainment for their
children, door prizes and other festivities
throughout the day. Door prizes are donated by
some local agricultural employers and local
businesses.

Representatives from participating agencies get
an opportunity to explain about their services by
addressing the farm workers through the PA system
throughout the day and by inviting them to visit
