    after the U.S., Japan, Germany, China and England
    (GDP reached approximately 1,800 billion in
    2006)
  • France is overall, the fourth largest exporting
    nation of the world!!!

    agricultural products in the world after the U.S.
  • France is the worlds leader in the production of
    luxury goods.
  • France is the fourth largest producer of
    automobiles in the world and the third largest

Criteria of a short-term internship
  • 1 month to 1 year in duration
  • Candidates must be enrolled in an American
    college or have finished less than 2 years ago
  • Candidates do not need to be American citizens!

  • The French Embassy can help you find a position,
    but nothing is guaranteed.

  • Criteria of a long-term internship
  • Intern usually finds the position, using FACC
    lists
  • Assignment must be 3 to 12 months in length
  • Private companies (businesses) only are
    eligible
  • Intern must be paid at least the SMIC (about
    1200 per month)
  • Full-time positions only are eligible (35
    hrs/week)
  • Application can be submitted any time during
    the year
