    of working with SIDBI .
  • The participants learnt about various schemes
    that Banks and Financial institutions offer to
    startup entrepreneurs .

The Wallet Exercise
  • Participants were divided into 4 groups with one
    lady member in each group who would be the
    potential customer
  • The other members of the team were to uncover
    the customers expectations and design a ladys
    handbag

Difficult Customers
  • The teams learnt its a tough task to know the
    customers real mind
  • Customers dont tell till you ask them
  • Customers expectations can keep on changing

Delivering on customer expectations
  • Team dynamics was at play as the participants got
    down to designing the product for their
    customer.
  • Various elements of team work , delegation and
    creativity were at work.

The 3 minute elevator pitch
  • Participants learnt the fine art of pitching it
    in 3 minutes courtesy Mr. Amitabh Bacchan.
  • Participants appreciated the window to get
    across to the customer was getting narrower by
    the day.
  • Getting customer attention and holding it was a
    tough task.

Some real tough task
  • Designing a product the customer wants could be
    real tricky.
  • The trick was to make one size fits all but still
    very personal.
  • Customers could be really cheeky when admitting
    their choices

Veterans watched as youngsters pitched.
  • Mr Phili Kharas , President WZCC an enthusiastic
    participant himself is keeping a stern watch as
    his younger team mate pitches aggressively,

A Sale is made finally
  • Participants learnt the practical way in which
    customers haggle for price.
  • Important learning was that customers will pay
    what they think is the right price.
  • Importance of discounts in the Indian context.
