INTRODUCTION
The CE Provincial Survey Project was conducted
bi-annually in Ontario until 2002 and then again
in 2005. The goals of this project have been
defined as follows
  • To provide a province-wide picture of Continuing
Education in terms of it's programs and
    students.
  • To create a database for Ontario to examine
    issues (either individually or collectively)
or importance at various levels in the college
    system.
  • To benefit from the efficiency of a single,
large project, a common survey, and a
    consistent process.
  • To acquire comparative information so that each
college can assess its performance and the
trends in relation to other colleges (regionally
    and provincially as appropriate).
  • To provide a prototype case demonstrating the
benefits of cooperative research among the
colleges, and to identify future research
    requirements and opportunities.
