  • Faculty may use CCAC Central to

  • This presentation shows you how to obtain a CCAC
    Central Account page 3
  • Remember that you will view ONLY YOUR OWN
    INFORMATION from Colleague
  • You will NOT be able to view another persons
    rosters, students, etc.
  • Faculty who do need to run inquiries and reports
    from the system (advisors, dept heads) will need
    a regular Colleague user ID, in addition to their
    Colleague CCAC Central ID.

ACCESS CCAC CENTRAL
Select CCAC Central e-Services wherever you see
this logo on the CCAC Web Site
Click on the FACULTY link to view the menu for
faculty options
Use the FACULTY menu to access all the options
described on slides 3 10.

NEED AN ACCOUNT?
On the FACULTY menu, click on Reset or Create
your CCAC Central Username and Password
You can use this feature to create your account
or reset your password whenever you need
Complete all required fields and click on Submit
The Colleague ID is a 7-digit unique number that
you are assigned in Colleague you can find it on
your roster or your paycheck enter the entire
number, including the leading 000s.
This screen will display your CCAC Central login
ID and password. You will also receive a
confirming email
NOTE If assisting a student with obtaining a
CCAC Central account, please do not allow them to
use your email address if they do not have an
email account, they may sign up for NetID and
obtain a student academic email account.
When you log on for the first time, the system
will tell you that your password has expired
this is your chance to assign a password that you
will remember

SEARCH FOR CLASSES
On the FACULTY menu, click on Search for classes
Search for classes is open to anyone who wishes
to view course schedules no CCAC Central or
security access required
Search based on term, subject, course, section,
times, keywords, locations or instructor last name
To see only the classes that you teach, choose
the term and your last name
Your Search Results will display like this you
will view all open and closed classes that meet
the criteria that you chose

MY CLASS SCHEDULE
On the FACULTY menu, click on My Class Schedule
Select the correct term to view from the list
If you are teaching an off-phase course and you
are not sure of the term, enter a date range
Your Class Schedule will display like this you
can click on the link for any of the sections to
view more info

MY CLASS ROSTER
On the FACULTY menu, click on Class Roster
Select the correct term to view from the list and
Submit
If you are teaching an off-phase course and you
are not sure of the term, enter a date range
Choose the section you wish to view Submit
To retrieve information about any of the students
on your roster, check the Student Profile box for
that student and click Submit

VOCED ATTENDANCE ROSTERS
On the FACULTY menu, click on VOCED Class
Non-Attendance
You will be asked to provide attendance
information at certain intervals in the term
click on VOCED Class Non-Attendance
First, Choose the term OR Enter a range of dates
Your schedule for the term will appear choose
which type of information you are submitting
Choose the section you wish to enter and click
Submit
If all students are attending class, simply check
this box
If not, check the Never Attended box OR enter the
Date Last Attended for each student who is no
longer attending

VOCED Roster
If you chose to submit information for VOCED
rosters for EARLY INTERVENTION, the roster will
display as shown.
Only the VOCED students in your section will
appear here. To submit information for a student
for early intervention, click the checkbox for
that student and click Submit
Answer these questions about the student and
enter specific comments that may help the VOCED
staff in follow-up. Click Submit. The VOCED staff
will follow-up with each student whom you refer.

SUBMIT YOUR GRADES
On the FACULTY menu, click on Grading
Choose the correct term OR enter a date range
Choose whether you are entering final or midterm
grades and choose the section you wish to grade
Notice that Midterm grades display when you are
entering Final Grades
Enter Grades for each student If you submit an I
grade (Incomplete), enter the expiration date
supplied by the Registrar
If a students status is Withdrawn, enter a W
grade.
Click Submit when done. A screen will display to
state that your process is completed. Go back to
the menu, and return to the grade roster if you
want to print.

MY STIPENDS
On the FACULTY menu, click on My Stipends
Your Stipends will display like this its a good
idea to check your payroll BEFORE payday.

Common Problems
  • Timeout remember that CCAC Central will time-out
    after 15 minutes of non-activity
  • This is done to provide a secure site for faculty
    who are submitting confidential information and
    students who are submitting financial info
  • Do NOT use your browsers back and forward
    buttons when you are on a secure site. Use the
    menu choices instead.
  • Only hit the Submit Key ONCE. You will get an
    error message if you hit Submit multiple times.
  • Incomplete Date Deadline
  • Dont forget to enter the deadline date for I
    Incomplete Grades (this date is furnished to you
    with grading instructions)
  • Forgot your password?
  • You can reset your own CCAC Central password
    just click on the Reset or Create your CCAC
    Central Account link on the menu to establish a
    new password.
  • Dont know your Colleague ID number? It is
    printed on your paycheck or faculty ID card. Or
    you can enter your social security number.
  • Read error messages
  • Error messages will appear at the top of the
    screen as shown read these messages to determine
    what the problem is
