Title: The following seminar deals with the subject of erectile dysfunction (ED),

1
Introduction The following seminar deals with the
subject of erectile dysfunction (ED), its causes,
and currently available treatments. ED itself is
not a life threatening condition - no treatment
(abstinence) is an option and the choice of some
couples dealing with the issue. However, ED can
be the result of underlying medical problems that
ARE life threatening, so if you have ED and are
considering abstinence, we still encourage you
to consult with your physician

Diabetes
Diabetes is diagnosed either as Type 1 or Type
2.Type 2 diabetes is the most common form of
diabetes. In type 2 diabetes, either the body
does not produce enough insulin or the cells
ignore the insulin. Insulin is necessary for the
body to be able to use sugar. Sugar is the basic
fuel for the cells in the body, and insulin takes
the sugar from the blood into the cells. When
glucose builds up in the blood instead of going
into cells, it can cause two problems Right
away, your cells may be starved for energy. Also,
Over time, high blood glucose levels may hurt
your eyes, kidneys, nerves or heart. .

Diabetes
There are 5 million diabetic adult men in the US,
and it is estimated that half are impotent and
the other half will become impotent in time. The
process involves premature and unusually severe
hardening of the arteries. Peripheral neuropathy,
with involvement of the nerves controlling
erections, is commonly seen in diabetics.

that they have the disease.
