  • Marine biologist are scientist who study
    saltwater organisms.
  • Marine biologist work at large aquariums, caring
    for the animals that live there.
  • Some study the population of different fish.

Working Conditions
  • Marine biologist often work as research
    scientist.
  • Most marine biologist work regular hours, 9 to 10
    hours a day, 40 to 50 hours a week.
  • Those working as professors may work up to 60
    hours a week.

Earnings
  • Graduate students may earn as little as 10,000
    to 20,000 a year as research assistants.
  • After graduating a marine biologist can earn
    35,000 to 70,000 a year
  • Professors at 4 year collages usually make
    between 50,000 to 100,000 a year.
