• Elephant Seals are mammals.
• Elephant Seals have a grayish-brown color to
  their skin.
• They weigh approximately 8,800 lb.
• They live to be about 14 years old.
• Elephant Seals are warm blooded.
• Elephant Seals are also a vertebrate.

Food Sources

• Elephant Seals get their food by diving down deep
  in the ocean.
• They eat rays, squid, fish, octopus, hagfish, and
  ratfish.
• Elephant Seals eats meat which makes them a
  carnivore.

Habitat

• The Elephant Seal lives in the sunlight zone.
• The sunlight zone is 200 meters deep.
• It lives partly on land and partly in the water.

Predators

• Some of the Elephant Seals predators are the
  Great White Shark, the Killer Whale, and when
  Elephant Seals die bigger seals eat them.
• Elephant Seals can go on land so sometimes that
  is how the can defend themselves.

• Men hunt Elephant Seals for their blubber,
  bones, fur, and oil.
• Human are using them for research because of
  their lifestyle
• They can suffocate because of litter in the
  ocean.
