Long ago I wasnt satisfied with what was
generally considered to be success, which was the
accumulation of material possessions or the
attainment of a position of power or prestige. I
dont think those things necessarily indicate
success, but they might. So, after a lot of
thinking, I came up with my own definition
Success is peace of mind which is a direct result
of self-satisfaction in knowing that you did your
best to become the best you are capable of
becoming.

Carol, I am so sorry for this. I feel that I
just cant go on. I have always tried to do the
right thing, but where there was once great
pride, now its gone. I love you and the
children so much. I just cant be any good to
you or myself. The pain is overwhelming. Please
try to forgive me. - Suicide note from J. Cliff
