The Magic Mirror

One stormy day, the Parker parents went shopping
and bought a mirror from a little antique store.
When they brought it home, they hung it on the
wall in the hallway. One day, Alice, Devon and
Alison were playing in the hallway. Out of the
corner of her eye, Alice noticed her clothes were
different and the background to, so she told her
parents and they looked into the mirror and saw
nothing different, so they walked away and said,
Dont lie.

Alice was shocked, she had never lied in her
life and now her parents thought so? Alice was
older than her brother and sister by only four
minutes, but still, her parents expected more of
her. Out of her brother and sister, she was the
smartest one. In fact, she was an honor student
at school. Alice jerked her head to the side and
looked at the mirror with a glare on her face.
She wanted to smash the mirror. Suddenly, she
saw something move. She reached to touch it, and
her hand went right through the glass! Her
siblings were stunned. Alison and Devon were
playing catch when suddenly, the ball bounced
into the mirror. The triplets were amazed.
Kids, time for bed! said the parents. Without
saying a word, the kids walked to bed in silence.
Later that night, they snuck out of bed into the
hallway.

Suddenly, they were sucked into the mirror and
when they got out, there was a path and they saw
something glowing at the end of the path. So,
they went down the path to figure out what it was
and it was the glow of the fairys wand. She
said, Hi,my name is Persefanie and Im a fairy.
What kind of creature are you? Alice said,
Were humans. The fairy gasped, Humans!
Alison asked, Whats wrong with humans? When
there were humans here, there wasnt enough food
for all the creatures, so the scariest creatures
of all drove the humans out and when the humans
left, all the light went with them. Now all the
light that we have is the glow from the fairies
wands. There is something else. Light from
another source is locked away and no creatures
from this world can find itbut, you can!
Why? The legend says that only humans can
find the light because only humans can see it.
Weve been in the dark so long, that we have
practically gone blind. Devon asked, How can you
get the light back? Persefanie said, Well,
there is one way and that is the mirror. Find
the magic mirror. How did you guys get here?
We came through a magic mirror, but we got
sucked in and we dont know where to find it,
said Alice. Maybe the light source that is
locked away in the mirrorthe magic mirro
Yes.yes,Ive got it!!!, cried Alison.
Ive got an idea. What if all the light is
hidden in the frame of the mirror? Oh, yes,
thats a great idea, exclaimed Persefanie. We
need to find the mirror. If all the light is
stored in the mirror, then we can restore the
light to this world. If we can find enough
light, we can find the mirror. What if we get
all the fairies together to use the light from
their wands, then the mirror might seek out the
light and come to us. Then, Persefanie waved
her wand in the air. There was a slight humming
sound and a huge woosh came with all the fairies
wings heading in their direction. They gather in
a circle and at the count of three, they point
their wands into the center. There was a huge
blast of light upward. No one knew if it worked,
but suddenly the mirror appeared in the center of
the circle. Alice yelled, Persefanie, quick,
crack open the frame of the mirror. What?O.K.?
Persefanie brought her wand down with great
force. The frame of the mirror cracked open and
suddenly, the whole kingdom was lighted up with
the suns brightness. Yahoo, weve restored
light to the land!
