What is scale build up ?

• Water is a carrier vessel of hard water
  minerals due to the naturally attractive ionic
  charges between the minerals and the water. Hard
  water mineral salts start out as limestone rock
  in the earth. As water flows by the rock, it
  creates a potential, which is the attractive
  force, and can be measured by voltage.
• The potential between the water and the rock
  dissolves the rock (mineral salts) and carries
  the dissolved minerals up to the surface, and
  from there into a sites or buildings water
  system.
• The plumbing, regardless of whether it is
  plastic, copper or steel, has a greater potential
  than the water.
• It therefore attracts the minerals in what is
  referred to as seeding, nucleating and
  crystallizing back into scale. The scaling
  builds rapidly at all heating (phase change)
  surfaces in the water heater or boiler.

How does it work ?
MAGNETIZERs patented technology is easy to
install and retrofit because it just bolts on. It
is several times stronger than conventional
bipolar magnetic technology because it is made up
of monopole magnets with focused energy
Hard Water entering a magnetized system is
negatively charged, with randomly placed
molecules and crystallizing (scaling) minerals.
Corrosive Water enters with super free-radical
hydronium or hydroxyl ions which attack the metal
piping.
Water exiting the system is naturally soft while
still retaining the minerals important for
health. The improved solvency will de-scale the
system while improving the quality of the water.
Corrosive ions are bound up and do not attack the
plumbing.

Other Effects of Magnetism on Water

• Magnetized water, when measured, has lower
  surface tension as a direct result of the
  polarized molecules. A lower surface tension
  translates into an increased flow rate, enabling
  pump motors to use less energy to move the same
  amount of water as prior to magnetizing the
  water.
• In addition to reducing pump energy costs, this
  effect results in discontinued usage of expensive
  surfactants in conditioning water for cleaning,
  sanitation or more efficient fire fighting.
• Magnetism stabilizes water pH. A properly focused
  magnetic field provides a stabilizing effect by
  greatly eliminating the excess of hydronium ions
  (acid) or hydroxyl ions (alkaline), thus
  eliminating or reducing the cost of pH
  stabilizing chemicals.
• Magnetism reduces corrosion (a) by neutralizing
  and buffering every magnetized fluid and (b) by
  removing scale and scale formation, the
  MAGNETIZER eliminates scale-related electrolytic
  corrosion.

Test Case - Water
Locomotives Beijing Railroad

• In China, MCII and the Beijing Railroad have
  conducted a 3-year joint test on 50 locomotives.
• Systems were put on the Fuel Lines and Water
  Equipment for one year, then torn down for
  complete inspection. They were re-inspected again
  for a second and third year. The tests were also
  made on heating boilers situated in each car,
  similar to equipment used in US apartment blocks
  and office buildings. The results were as
  follows
• Water Test Results All hard water scale in the
  water and steam jackets, the boiler and all other
  related equipment was reduced to non-existent
  over the 3 year period.
• Fuel Test results An average 6 savings -
  hundreds of gallons an hour on the huge
  locomotive engines
• A 20 increase in power which was indicated by a
  20 higher speed leading to a higher level of
  on-time arrivals and departures.
• A 60 reduction in emissions

MAGNETIZER excites the electrons in the fuel and
air which increases the oxygen bonding to the
fuel molecule for a more efficient and
combustible gas.
Magnetizing the fuel breaks up the naturally
formed hydrocarbon associations (grape-like
clusters which do not combust efficiently) into
mono-atomic molecular gas (individual hydrocarbon
molecules) which burns more efficiently and
completely.
The result is more power, less emissions and fuel
savings.The magnetic fuel also attracts and
removes previous carbon build-up in the jets,
injectors and the engine for higher efficiency
and longer running.

Fuel entering is in naturally formed grape-like
hydrocarbon clusters (associations) which do not
combust efficiently and create carbon/varnish
buildup in cylinders, rings, injectors, jets, and
lines. Oil Paraffin builds up creating
down-time, hot oiling high costs.
Fuel exiting is now positively charged and
de-clustered for high combustion efficiency and
carbon/varnish removal. Paraffin is eliminated
reducing downtime and increasing profits.

Mine
An experiment was run over a two year period
(2000-01, 2001-02) by Dr G. Baiden (Laurentian
U.) and B. Baiden (Avoca-Tec En Mgmt) Magnets
were installed on the headers of a heater house
at Inco. Natural gas consumption data was
collected between two heating seasons and
normalized using degree-days methodology.

This experiment showed very impressive results
reducing natural gas consumption by 11.95 once
adjusted for degree-days to normalize the
information.
