• Jesus became human, died, resurrected and
  ascended to heaven
• It united to God those who will put their faith
  in His sacrificial death.

B. What is the relation between the sacrifice of
Christ on the cross and His mediation in the
heavenly sanctuary? Heb. 725 I John 19

• The death and resurrection of Christ makes
  possible the mediation of Christ before the
  Father.
• Through the mediation of Christ in the heavenly
  sanctuary, we attain forgiveness of our sins.

A. What is Christ doing for us as our Mediator

• Jesus finished His sacrificial work on the cross
  and is now working as King and Priest in the
  heavenly sanctuary.
• Christ began His intercessory work immediately
  after His enthronement.

RESULT OF CHRISTS MEDIATORY WORK

• Christs toiling, struggling ones on earth are
  accepted in the Beloved (Eph. 16). Before the
  heavenly angels and the representatives of the
  unfallen worlds, they are declared justified.
