• SCL Mission

• The aim of the Stanford Center on Longevity (SCL)
  is to use added years of life to improve quality
  of life at all ages
• To stimulate physical, social and biological
  research that will improve the quality of the
  extended years gained in the 20th Century for
  individuals and for society as a whole.
• To establish partnerships with the private
  sector, non-profit organizations and governments
  to quickly bring research findings to the public.
  
• To initiate dialogues for the dramatic cultural
  transformation that must take place if extended
  years are to improve quality of life at all ages.
