• Individual CTSA Level
• Monitor progress of individual CTSA institutions
  through annual progress reports, self-evaluation
  reports, periodic site visits
• CTSA Program/Consortium Level
• Evaluate short and long term impact of the CTSA
  program
• Assess how the CTSAs function as a collective
  consortium

• Defining scope, purpose, objectives
• Need for a draft conceptual framework became
  critical
• 3rd meeting focused on targeted discussion of
  draft conceptual framework and Set-aside Proposal
  for Feasibility Study

CTSA Conceptual Framework

• Recognize that institutional flexibility may
  yield different contributions to overall success
  of the CTSA consortium
• Define scope and definition of baseline
  characteristics
• Consider impact of funding cohorts of CTSAs
  annually and impact of RFA revisions to the CTSA
  intervention
• Establish and adopt common terms and definitions
  across CTSA consortium at the outset (i.e.,
  translational, interdisciplinary, etc.)
