Why Develop a CEIDARS Greenhouse Gas Inventory?

• On June 1, 2005, Governor Schwarzenegger signed
  Executive Order S-3-05 which calls for
• A reduction of Californias Green House Gas
  (GHG)
• emissions to 2000 levels by 2010
• A reduction of GHG emissions to 1990 levels by
  2020
• A reduction of GHG emissions to 80 below 1990
  levels by
• 2050
