Materials and Methods Supermarket/Port Quality
Survey
  • A team of four quality, marketing and production
    experts were sent to Europe to
  • Survey the major supermarkets in Paris and
    London Tesco, Sainsbury, Rungis etc.
  • Survey arriving vessels at the port of
    destination Rungis, Dover, Valdo.

MATERIAL AND METHODS Sampling Plan
  • TWENTY PEOPLE WERE SELECTED AND TRAINED FOR SIX
    MONTHS
  • SELECTION CRITERIA
  • 1. EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
  • 2. MATH AND ACCOUNTING
  • 3. PERSONALITY COMMUNICATION
  • SKILLS

AT THE END OF SIX MONTH TRAINING
  • SEVEN CANDIDATES WERE ELIMINATED OUT OF TWENTY
  • TEN OUT OF THIRTEEN WERE RETAINED AND POSTED TO
    FOUR PACKING STATIONS AND THE PORTS.
  • A SAMPLE SHED WAS BUILT AT THE ENTRANCE OF EACH
    PACKING STATION.
