  • Hurtigrute

Hurtigrute- the worlds most beautiful boat-trip
  •  11 days and 10 nights in the sea. That means
2500 seamiles, 35 ports and at least with hundred
years past. The Hurtigrute is the first number
highway. Day by day in wind and snow, in the
whitenights or long rain one of the 11 ships
starts. It sails from Bergen to Russian border,
Kirkenes and it reaches Vestkapp and Nordkapp.
Since centuries the Hurtigrute means the only way
to the outworld. On the ship there are mail,
hotmeal, drinks. The people from south travelled
on it. Every travel brings something new. The
Hurtigrute became a transport punch since 1849.
In Bergen every year many people step on board
tourists coming from Europe, Asia and America.
The habital town inhabbitans subjects themselves
to the tiring voyage hoping that they will escape
from the bigger storm. Who is fed up with the
creaking boards go to a land trip. So anybody can
make longer the travel and in some days and can
go back to another ship. But every thing needs a
substantial preparation. Therefore we ask for the
help of the travel agencies. The eight newest
Hurtigrute ships are similar to oceanliners. In
every ship has enough room for sixty cars. Who
believes in that he can buy tickets for eleven
nights only that person is mistaken. They can
even pay for shorter voyages, too and travel from
a few money with rucksack, without cubicle but
with self-sufficient. In every case they need to
have help from the travel agencies. The
    unfrofessional Japanese photographers and the
Norwegian undergraduates form the atmosphere of
the North sea voyage together. The ceremony of
putting into a port, the postalflag on the board,
the clothes and the calming words of the sailers
when we turn around the West-degree at eight
number wind-force and cross the Vest-fjord
between Lofoten and Norland- mean unforgettabble
experience they are- natural vertains to the
travel. Following the traditions there is a post
box at the reception which is emptied usually.
Dont forget that the Hurtigrute was the only
    postservice during the decades.

  • Ironman

  • Many people interest in winning the 6th IRONMAN
Austria is at least as high as Smiths. The 32
years old Frenchman lists the victory at IRONMAN
France 2002, the second place at the
International Triathlon in Nice/France and the
third place in Roth/Germany 2003 (in spite of
having a flat tyre) as well as the sixth overall
place at the IRONMAN world championships in
Hawaii in 2002. Chabaud is a bike specialist and
called attention when he came in with a fantastic
bike split in Hawaii, only 4 and a half minutes
behind Thomas Hellriegel supposedly one of the
best cyclists. Although only 28 of age,
Australian Joanne King is not an unknown quantity
in triathlon. As two times world champion and
seven times Australian champion she has the wins
at the IRONMAN Germany 1999, at the long distance
in Nice/France 1999 and at the Phuket Triathlon
in Thailand 2001 on her list. Since 2002, she has
not done an IRONMAN and is looking forward to
race in Klagenfurt Kate Allen is from my home
town in Australia, I do some training with her.
She has always spoken so fondly of your race. I
am looking forward to having my comeback Ironman
race in Austria! André Karsai Donnerstag, 4.
März 2004 Bike transportation for RYANAIR
customers Who is the best Boss in Europe? Ryanair
decided to cut the number of bikes they are
accepting to transport on flights to Klagenfurt.
Together with Schenker logistics, we are working
out a mass transport for bikes for UK athletes.
This transport will be cheaper than the
individual transport that is offered by Schenker.
We will try to have the program online by the end
of this week. During the 6th Kärnten IRONMAN
Austria Triathlon in Klagenfurt on July 4th,
2004, Europes most sportive CEOs will have the
chance to see who is the best. The long distance
triathlon covering 3,8km swim, 180km bike and
42,2km marathon run will show which boss is one
step ahead in Europe at least on the sporting

This sport is very hard.

History of Juventus
  • A bench in Re Umberto Avenue finds a group of
young students from Liceo D'Azeglio in Turin in
need of something to do. They decide to start a
sports club with the aim of playing football, a
sport started in Great Britain, but developing
fast in Europe. So the story goes - Juventus F.C.
was born in this way - just for fun.
  • This club, ran by the first president Enrico
Canfari, played against more experienced and
organised teams in the city. However in 1905
Juventus won its first Italian title after a
fascinating competition with two other teams -
Genoa and Milan. Juventus F.C. chose their first
home at D'Armi Square, which is still used today.

  • For some years Juventus founders wore pink shirts
    - the same ones they wore when they started in
1900. The change to the black and white colours
was made in 1903 after a wrong shipment was sent
from England where the new strip was to be made.
  • Despite growing achievements, Juventus were in
the shadow of stronger teams like Provercelli and
Casale until the outbreak of the First World War.
After the war they continued to rise, with
goalkeeper Giacone and the full backs Novo and
Bruno the first to play in the national team.
  • The President was the poet and man of letters
Corrado Corradini, who wrote the club anthem
    which remained until the sixties.

  • Speckbrettl

Welcoming speech about the 20th Opened Altötting
Speckbrettl Championship
  • As a patron I welcome every sportsfriend
especially the active ones in the name of
Altötting town because of this jubilee
chanpionship. You can remember with me the famous
    tamped clay course.

  • Between the today's times and those times passed
a lot of years. At that time we played barefoot
with clubs couted with plastic on the clay ground
without lines and in a well-cleaned freebath
place in St. Georg. There were beautiful summer
days when they matched their strengh against
people coming from Altötting and Neutötting and
some other counries with wooden clubs and tennis
balls in sport. Every trial goes in children's
boots to make it an international game. Therefore
we organize the 20th Opened Altötting Speckbrettl
Championship in 2002 without bigger rivalry.

  • We have to wait for a while when this sport will
become an olympic sportbranch. Perhaps it is also
rolling on that there isn't a written bye-law.
Against of this I say many thanks for them who
continue this tradition from Altötting very
ardently. I wish more recoveries for this typical
and originar sport branch in the name of
Altötting as a patron of this programme. I wish
successes to this jubilee town championship.

Special thanks for
