• The Centre for ICT in Education takes part,
  together with 6 other European organisations, in
  the project ICT supported learning in Small and
  Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs). With this
  3-year project, called ICTSME3, it is tried to
  increase the knowledge base on the possibilities
  of ICT as a support tool in learning and
  professionalization in SMEs. The Centre of ICT in
  Education takes upon the following activities
• Literature study and analysis of available
  information on the Internet
• Large-scale survey-research in all sectors of the
  SMEs
• Specific analysis of 15 smaller companies
• Interviews with 6 experts in the field of policy,
  ICT and SME
• Group meetings with policymakers, and other
  experts in the field of learning, ICT and SME
• Meta-analysis of all data that has been gathered
• Dissemination of the project results in relevant
  interest groups
• This fireplace meeting is one of the planned
  group meetings.
