an easy-to-use authoring tool that is used to
prepare a presentation, including importing and
converting Microsoft PowerPoint slides, selecting
the streaming and non-streaming content that will
be distributed, and selecting and customizing an
interface. The fields displayed in the
Presentation Wizard will automatically be
configured to reflect whether the content creator
is creating a live, on demand, and/or CD
presentation.
19Because we are going to stream from the Real
Server, select the second option.
20Enter in your presentation information.
21- PresenterOne basic is installed with a default
template. There are more templates available for
download at the link provided in download more
templates. Not all will be available with the
basic version. - With the template features audience slide
navigation and display slide titles selected,
the different templates will allow navigation
within the presentation. Viewers can navigate to

Keep this in mind when you are creating your ppt
presentation.

23Import your PowerPoint file here each slide will
be converted to a jpg or gif file. PresenterOne
defaults to jpg because image quality is
generally more important than file size.
24The Streaming Media File page is used to specify
the on demand Real media file that will be
incorporated into the presentation. To complete
the Streaming Media File page, either enter the
streaming media file name in the Real Media File
field or use the Find button to locate the Real
Media file
25The Generate Presentation Content page is used to
upload a presentation to the project directory
once all of the previous Presentation Wizard
steps have been completed. To upload the
presentation, simply click Generate Presentation
Content NOTE PresenterONE will generate a unique
identifier that will identify the presentation
within the work folder. The content creator has
the option of entering a different identifier in
the Presentation Identifier field. Once Generate
Presentation Content is clicked, a message will
appear announcing that the presentation is being
generated.
26The presentation is generated
27The presentation manager opens 2 windows, the
media window and the slide preview window. The
audio is already apart of the media timeline. You
just need to add the slides to the audio. The
following pages show the step by step. See the
presentation manager in detail in chapter7, page
39
28Add slides to timeline...
Its easy to add slides to the timeline. Select
the slide, it will be highlighted in blue, then
click the display slide button at the
bottom. Begin the narration insert the slides
as you listen. You might need to practice a few
times- so think about creating a little mock
presentation for a test run. If you want the
first slide to appear as the narration is
beginning, select display slide before the
narration begins.
29The timeline...
The timeline does not allow for much variation in
the way it looks, however, it will allow you to
make some changes in your presentation. As you
insert slides they appear as blue lines on your
timeline. You can select a line and move it so it
will appear earlier or later in the narration.
Youll know youve grabbed the slide on the
timeline when you see the name of the slide
appear- see above, Ive selected slide 2.
30Create Publish...
For details on create publish see chapter 10,
page 60.

this could take minutes. At any point you can

similar to publishing events during a live
presentation or during the first time through an
on demand presentation. To add an event, first
click Play on the Media window Once the Media has
been launched, display the desired content using
the same methods described in Chapter 7. Once the
event is displayed, a hash mark will appear on
the Slide Time bar. Drag the hash mark to the
time location at which the event should occur.
To delete published events, simply right-click
on the appropriate hash mark on the Slide Time
bar and click delete.
