  • This course is recommended for all vehicle
    drivers, and crew members.

  • 4 x 4 Hour Sessions
  • Course material is classified SECRET. Soldiers
    must present a memorandum signed by the unit
    Commander attesting that he or she possess a
    Secret Clearance.

Fact Sheet
  • Class seats are on a first come basis.
  • Classes will be held in Building 298B, corner of
    37th St and Battalion Avenue.
  • Units must provide Soldiers name, rank, unit,
    unit phone.
  • Please contact Mr. Elijah King Jr., III Corps
    Fort Hood IED-Defeat Capabilities Integration
    Team (CIT) at (254) 553-3288.
  • Enrollees must posses a SECRET CLEARANCE and
    present a memorandum signed by unit commander for
    enrollment.
  • Certification
  • Students assigned to training must be exempt from
    all other duties. The instructors will keep
    attendance rosters of students attending
    training. Copies of attendance rosters will be
    provided to the III Corps Fort Hood CIT office
    and made available to unit leaders on request.
    Soldiers that do not attend all of the training
    will not be certified. Soldiers that have
    appointments during the days of training should
    re-schedule those appointments. Students will
    receive the course schedule during enrollment on
    Day 1.
  • Students will be required to fill out a course
    critique at the conclusion of training.
  • Uniform
  • The following are the uniform requirements for
    the course
  • Classroom Activities Duty Uniform (ACU
    w/Beret).
  • Enrollees must have their military ID card in
    their possession.
