• The European Union has a very complete set of
  indicators to measure the development of the
  Information Society in general.
• For the specific question of eGov, a set of 20
  indicators evaluates basic public services (12
  for citizens and 8 for enterprises)
• This metric is insufficient to evaluate a service
  out of this list.

• eGOBS uses a different methodology
• It is a metric to evaluate the quality of an eGov
  service, focusing the evaluation on the web site
  through which it is made available to citizens,
  enterprises and other administrations.
• It includes measures of

• All of them are very important to measure
  efficacy and efficiency.

• The EGOBS methodology is rich enough to show all
  the complexity of the eGov phenomenon.
• The promoting group is committed to its
  improvement and open to partnerships.
• The tool is useful for different purposes
• Comparative evaluation of a set of institutions.
• Provide a diagnosis of a specific institution
  looking for an internal or external audit
• The next step is as country Bulgaria and another
  interested organizations and institutions we
  have applications from Argentina and Spain
  (Baleares and Galicia)
