FY08 DET ST BAA Solicitation Notice

• The FY08 Directed Energy Test Science and
  Technology (DET ST) Broad Agency Announcement
  (BAA) is available at Federal Biz Opps, which
  provides information and instructions about the
  BAA. Amendment 03 to the this BAA is available
  here.
• The Program Executive Office for Simulation,
  Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) sponsors
  the DET ST program at the directions of the Test
  Resource Management Center (TRMC) Office of the
  Secretary of Defense (OSD). The TRMC is under the
  Science and Technology (ST) program for advanced
  development of technologies required to support
  Test and Evaluation (TE) of directed energy
  weapon systems.
• PEO STRI/DET ST contracts with government
  agencies, educational institutes, non-profit
  organizations, and private industry through the
  NAVAIR Orlando Training Systems Division (NAVAIR
  Orlando TSD). This collaboration is intended to
  mature high-risk, high payoff technologies to
  fill TE gaps.
