• If you have an opportunity and the ambition to
  go on to college, you should by all means take
  advantage of the opportunity. After this war is
  over, there will be a greater demand than ever
  before for well-trained people. You can perform
  no greater service to your country than to better
  prepare yourself to help solve some of the
  problems of the future. Class of 1942

• America is facing turbulent days. Whether
  Freedom, Equality, Liberty, Justice, and Humanity
  remain the basic foundation of our Democracy
  depends upon the youth of today. Their
  patriotism, their citizenship, their loyalty must
  be manifested in the performing of worthwhile
  acts and in the establishment of high ideals and
  habits that will help us to live the lives of
  good useful citizens who are loyal to our
  government, who respect the rights and property
  of others, who have civic pride, a familiarity
  with public activities, a spirit of sympathy and
  helpfulness for the less fortunate, and the power
  to the self-starters in good work. The following
  quotation expresses my challenge to you Seniors
• My country, right or wrong.
• If right, well keep her right
• If wrong, well make her right,
• But my country, right or wrong.
• Seniors, accept my challenge. Lets keep America
  the arsenal of Democracy. Remember your class
  motto Impossible is Un-American.

Future Farmers of America Class of 1942

• Each boy has a farm practice program at home
  consisting of from one to five projects. Nearly
  all include food crops, livestock, or both,
  chosen at least partially because they fit in
  with the victory program.
• A farm shop for the repair of farm machinery
  during the war emergency is being built at Simon
  Kenton.
• If the tire situation allows, we will probably go
  over to Hardinsburg, Kentucky, this summer and
  spend a week in the F. F. A. State Camp.

  Mr. Sebree has been intimately associated with
  most of the members of our class. We prize his
  friendship, covet his courage, praise his
  patriotism, laud his loyalty, and value his
  youthful vigor. We, the members of the Class of

  The Pioneer to Mr. Malvin Ray Sebree.
