    of choice

    been difficult for the NHS and social care to

  • 9 projects one in each region
  • Curriculum development relating work settings
    and activities to the curriculum

    health and social care
  • Mentoring and coaching
  • Work place / based learning, shadowing,
    ambassadors

Health Centre Project Nottingham City PCT
  • 1 day per week at a health centre for 12 weeks
  • working toward 3 OCN Units, office skills,
    telephone skills and working as a team
  • Health and social care GCSE students

Staffordshire Healthcare Partnership
  • One week work based learning within a health and
    social care setting
  • Students interested in health and social care are
    given the opportunity to experience various
    settings across the Trust
  • Mapped and linked to employability and enterprise
    skills
