Agenda Event Preparation (week 40)

• Telecom Italia opens facilities to participants
• Installation of IMS equipment
• Mobile user equipment equipment is checked in TIM
  network
• Each IMS network vendor has to demonstrate that
• Own IMS can connect to all participating IMS
  networks
• Common soft client works with own IMS (simple
  home network call between two soft client
  instances)
• Own Mobile Terminals and clients have to used
• ETSI event preparation
• Scheduling of test team pairs for each test
  session
• Creation of test report template and collection
  mechanism
• Defining priorities and sequence for test
  execution
• Defining terminals and clients used in the
  bilateral sessions

Agenda IMS IOP Event (week 41)

• First half day event introduction, welcome, IMS
  network vendor introductions
• Then 8 test session with wrap-up/debriefing
• In each session one or test team pairs execute in
  parallel
• Each session includes establishment of main test
  configuration, IMS NNI IOP test case execution,
  debugging, collection of test results
• Wrap up session for presentation and discussion
  of test results
• Final afternoon for presentation and discussion
  of results from all test sessions
• Social event?

Room arrangements

• General public area - Auditorium
• Public test session rooms
• For test teams of IMS network vendors
  participating in test sessions
• Test teams will need to rotate through rooms
  through the event
• Location for all equipment needed for test
  execution
• (Mobile) UEs, ASs, analyzers needed for Mw/Gm/ISC
  monitoring
• Open to any IMS network vendor and operator
• Private IMS equipment vendor rooms
• Access only to personnel from one specific IMS
  network vendor
• For debugging network elements, monitoring
  internal IMS interfaces and configuration of IMS
  network elements
• Meeting rooms for test team discussions or
  preparation of tests
• Can be reserved on demand
• Telecom Italia lab
• Local IMS network installations and TIM radio
  access network

Remote connection

• Remote connection means that either an entire IMS
  network or components of it are located at a
  remote location
• IMS P/I/S-CSCF HSS DNS
• Also support personnel may be located at remote
  site
• All equipment needed for execution IMS NNI IOP
  test cases and technical expertise must be
  located in Turin
• User equipment, application servers, analysis
  tools
• Technical experts
• Connection of external IMS interfaces with other
  IMS, UE, and AS via VPN connection
• VPN information of remote site must be made
  available latest by end of August to Telecom
  Italia
