Introduction

• The lesson is about reading a folktale Native
  Americans tell their youth .The objective is that
  student will use literacy skills to obtain
  information as the main characters. Students will
  also analyze the story by seating, conflict,
  climax, and resolution .This lesson is for a
  sixth grade class as a reading lesson . The
  reason for me to do this reading is so they can
  be entertained and learn a life skill .

• The integration of technology will be a computer
  with a projector and a screen The lesson will
  also have a c d with Native American music. The
  computer will show not only the website but can
  also show a movie and play music

Process

• The teacher will introduce the Cherokee Nation
• Students will read the folk tale
• Students will answer questions made by teacher
• Students will analyze the characters and the main
  things such as setting, conflict, climax,
  resolution and so on
• Students will verbally tell me about their
  thoughts and ideas.

Assessment

• Students will answer questions analyzing the
  story made by the teacher. The lesson is made to
  make a person analyze and critique by asking
  questions about the story characters and so on
• Talk about the story to the parent and bring with
  them a signature from parent.
