The Importance of the Treaty

• The Indian peace treaty was an agreement between
  the Native Americans and English settlers in
  April of 1621.
• The treaty stated that there would be no more
  fighting among the two groups, but they would
  work together and protect each other.
• The Native Americans and the pilgrims had their
  first thanksgiving later that year in October.
• Stated that justice would be served to both
  Native Americans and English settlers.
